IMPORTANT: Microsoft has released an update for all versions of Windows that fixes the problem they broke in a previous update :). See below for the update that fixes the problem.


Symptoms:

  • Existing files with Model Overlay enabled - Program crashes (no error message) when attempting to enter Render Mode
  • New or existing files without Model Overlay enabled - Program crashes (no error message) when attempting to enable Model Overlay while in Render Mode
  • This issue applies to ALL versions of AGi32 and may effect other parts of the program
  • This issue may also affect Photometric Toolbox (no reported issues so far)

What To Do:

  • AGi32 v19:
    • We are working on a workaround and may release an update (v19.10). However, we are still investigating the impacts of this update. In the meantime, the only workaround is to uninstall the Windows Update (see below)
  • AGi32 v18 and older:
    • Uninstall the Windows Update (see below), or
    • Wait for Microsoft to fix the issue, or
    • Upgrade to AGi32 v19.10


Uninstall Windows Update:

  • Select Program and Features from Windows Control Panel
  • Click on 'View Installed Updates' in panel on left
  • Select the update to uninstall (depends on OS, see above), click Uninstall
