Enhancements/Changes:

  • Global Keyword Editor - Replaced default description for [_SEARCH_MAXUGR] to Smart Keyword (see Smart Keywords)
  • Global Keyword Editor - Implemented Smart Keywords
  • Factor Files - Can now paste multiple values from Excel into a column. Procedure::
    • Select and copy (Ctrl+C) column values (not row) from Excel
    • Select starting cell in grid
    • By default, the program enters Edit Mode when you select a cell. If you paste while in Edit Mode, only the selected cell will be updated. In order to paste multiple values (into multiple rows), you need to exit Edit Mode by pressing Esc
    • Once out of Edit Mode, paste the values by pressing Ctrl+V


Bug Fixes: 

  • License Manager - Multi-user License Checkout does work as expected when disconnected from the internet 
  • Max UGR is displayed as infinity symbol when luminous dimensions result in zero luminous area (invalid area)
  • Help-About - May get an 'Unhandled Exception - Overlapping link regions' on subsequent openings of the dialog
  • Factor Files - Undo is not resetting Watts
  • Factor Files - 'Unhandled exception - Object reference not set to an instance of an object' occurs when right-clicking on row marker in grid
  • Factor Files - 'Unhandled exception - Failed to compare two elements in the array' may occur when attempting to sort Watts or Lumens
  • Keywords, Data and Calculated Metrics - Sort for Max UGR may not work correctly if values are a mix of single and double digits (e.g. 4.1, 23.8)
  • Max UGR may be negative when candela values in offending zones are extremely low
  • Factor Files - Undo may not set [_FACTORED] description correctly
  • Factor Files - 'Unhandled exception - Index was outside the bounds of the array' occurs when you right-click in empty cell and select 'Apply to All' or 'Find an Replace'

Enhancements/Changes:

  • System Settings - Added the following to selectable Calculated Metrics:
    • Max UGR - The maximum UGR (Unified Glare Rating) value from the corrected UGR Table. This is the theoretical maximum based on the assumptions used to generate the table of values. It may not be the actual maximum for non-symmetrical arrangements, very low reflectances or very large rooms. More information on UGR Tables in the Photometric Toolbox Help
    • SS Lumens - Total downward lumens on the street-side of the luminaire (0-90, and 270-360 degrees horizontal)
    • % SS - Street-side lumens as a percentage of the total luminaire lumens (SS Lumens / Total Luminaire Lumens * 100)
    • HS Lumens - Total downward lumens on the house-side of the luminaire (90-270 degrees horizontal)
    • % HS - House-side lumens as a percentage of the total luminaire lumens (HS Lumens / Total Luminaire Lumens * 100)
  • System Settings - Added [_SEARCH_MAXUGR] to selectable Keywords
  • Global Keyword Editor - Can now add Keyword(s) without having to load existing Keywords. In previous versions, you had to load Keywords before you could make any changes or add Keywords
  • Global Keyword Editor - When adding [_SEARCH_MAXUGR], description defaults to '{Use calculated value). When applied, the Description is set the calculated Max UGR value. Example to add [_SEARCH_MAXUGR] to all loaded files:
    • Select and load files
    • On Global Keyword Editor tab, select Keyword [_SEARCH_MAXUGR], Description defaults to '{Use calculated value}'
    • Click Apply Changes!
  • Factor Files - Changed and enhanced pop-up menu item 'Apply Smart Filename'. Changed to 'Apply Smart Filename To Selected Rows' which allows you select multiple rows (e.g. Shift-Click or Ctrl-Click) and apply Smart Filename. Previously you could apply to one row or all rows
